Releasing ZDR Investments’s first ESG Report marks another milestone on our way to a net zero future.
Our path to sustainability
ESG is more than a page on our website. It's a solid foundation upon which we build our investments. Every new investment opportunity undergoes ESG Due Diligence, a comprehensive process to assess real estate properties in terms of sustainability or potential for improvement.
Creating the ESG Due Diligence was one of 30 main tasks we outlined in our ESG strategy, released publicly last year. Now, just a few months later, we're publishing our company's first ESG report to document our achievements.
Of those 30 main tasks, more than half have already been completed, with others in progress. We've implemented a new software platform for energy optimization, adopted a new onboarding process (ESG isn't just about sustainability), and installed new photovoltaic systems. These are results that can make a real difference.
You can read all about it in our comprehensive 40-page ESG Report. It's our first, but certainly not our last. For us, ESG is a long-term investment.
